Jesse Knox III is the Senior Minister at the Church of the Good Shepherd and Executive Director of the Good Shepherd Community Services Organization in Washington Park. A Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow (2000-01), Reverend Knox is a board member of the Washington Park Consortium, Community Renewal Society, Consecra Housing Network and formerly, The Christian Century. He serves on the United Church of Christ Chicago Metropolitan Association’s Congregational Life Committee, and Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ Personnel and Property Management Committees.

Reverend Knox received his M. Div. at the University of Chicago Divinity School, after earning a B.A. and M.A in Religious Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received certification in the field of Church-Based Community and Economic Development from Harvard University.
