Marcheta Pope is the Executive Assistant at Emerald South Economic Development Collaborative.  Marcheta's first administrative role began as a receptionist at Coldwell Banker Title Services in Glenview, IL. From then, she knew that a career in the administration field would be super fantastic for her and off she went part-time to attend Northwestern Business College, pursuing a career in Secretarial Sciences. Over the last 30+ years, she has worked her way up working at various corporations, including Coldwell Banker, Cybertek, Comdisco, HSBC and Marsh & McLennan Companies, with a goal to one day support CEOs. In her free time, Marcheta loves to bake. She received a Professional Cooking Certificate from The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago and spent several semesters at the Culinary School of Kendall College in Chicago.
